Hi everybody,
back in the country and back on the list.
Don't know what was posted but the Millennium celebrations in London were
fantastic with the Mousetrap Allnighter being as packed as never before. It
was great to see everyone (wearing silly party hats and all) having such a
good time and celebrating for three days non stop.
A big hug goes to all the people who made it to our gig at the 100 club with
Mike and me and Jack and Matthew from Quant, as the "Hippy Junky Band", at
least that is the name Paul Owers introduced us with. After an hour of
rehearsal on the same day we dived into an incompetent set of '60s classics
and got the crowd all worked up, maybe due to alcohol consumption rather
than musical quality but of course great showmanship. It was indeed a good
laugh.
I will start work on Shakin' all over in the next couple of days, any dates,
news, ads etc. for February/March 2000 should be sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], thanks.
We also brought back some copies of the new Untamed LP which I mentioned
before, so if you haven't got a copy yet you can order from us for $22 + $3
shipping. The amount we have is very limited so place your order soon. It
might save you a buck or two on postage (if you live in the US that is).
Kicking of Expo 2000 with Hipsters this Saturday the 15/January with The
Loons live here in San Diego and hope to see some of you there.
Hope you had a great start into the New Year.
Love,
Anja
