Sheeeet... I though I was in big trouble when I saw my name plastered all over the mods-list digest.... Phew!!! Lammy, many people me included have videos that play PAL (ours) and NTSC (theirs -- the yanks and north a's). If you link two together with a scart lead you can copy one tape to the next. All you need to do then is get some kind soul in Canada to video you an NTSC copy and send it over. My Panasonic NV-HD635 machine plays US tapes perfectly -- you can buy them for under �300. If you use a transferal service it'll cost you over �20 -- alt. you can get someone at a University to do it for you, at my old college, before I had an NTSC compatible, I used to blag many transferals and pretend they were for my film project.
