A couple friends of mine from the ol' University days (Hey Gary, pay attention here) are travelling through New Zealand at the moment and posting their travel logs online (URL at the bottom). Here's a particularly interesting entry that I thought I should share with the list. 4:29 pm EST 1/14/00 "We finally made it to Nelson around 8pm and promptly headed to the MOD cafe "Lambretta's" complete with scooter parts on the walls and the names of the dishes on the menu corresponded to different Lambretta models. We had to eat there for the novelty of it, but thankfully the food was as good as the atmosphere. (yes, it was our first meal of the day, but it really was good.)" Brian Poust p.s.
