My favourite is #4, "The 49 minute technicolor dream", which includes Jason Crest's "Black Mass", Rings & Things "Strange Things Are Happening", Caleb's "Baby Your Phrasing Is Bad", and one of my personal tops, the amazing "Matramonial Fears" by The Cymbaline, which always, always makes me very happy whenever I listen to it. Or howz about #5? "Fire's "Father Name Was Dad", The Mark Four "Hurt Me If You Will", The Game "Gonna Get Me Someone" (their "Gotta Wait" is included too, but it is not mentioned on the cover... I wonder if they'll correct it in the reissue)... to me, they were the best comps ever - besides "Hard Up Heroes". About the inserts, some of them are 2 or 4 pages booklets, some others are printed on the record's paper bag, and you should have them in every volume. As some of the artists appeared in more than one comp, they are not mentioned in all the inserts as Bam Caruso thought that everybody would be buying all the series anyway. Those of us who didn't are cursing ourselves to this very day. The only thing that worries me now is to decide whether I should buy the volumes that I'm missing in their "original" incarnation or these new reissues, as the price for the latter ones is quite steep, but the last time I was in London (june-july) I saw the Bam Caruso ones at about 30 quid (that would be 50 bucks). Not bad for an eighties reissue, eh? I wonder if these prices will go back to sanity with the re-release. This is beginning to look like stock trading, now. ---Pablo de la Cruz [EMAIL PROTECTED] NP The Cymbaline, "Matramonial Fears" How I love these song! _____________________________________________________________ Check out the new and improved Topica site! http://www.topica.com/t/13
