Yeah there was a crazy assortment of colours available in Australia &
New Zealand last year. The standard camel plus black and chocolate
brown... and then the wacky ones. Mustard, Forest Green, Navy Blue and
if I remember rightly a burgundy/purple kind of scud-ugly red.
Our band (called Smoothy) secured a Clarks sponsorship for some gigs and
got some cash and a new pair of desert boots each. I already had an
assortment so I went for the Navy ones which I'm bloody happy with. They
look black in a club anyway, and just a little bit spesh in the daytime
- without going overboard like the green or mustard.
The desert treks were available in black and brown - the brown are most
definitely the business. And right now down this way (NZ) the Clarks
factory shop are selling Desert Boots for NZ$20.00 ($120.00 retail).
My big complaint is that we can't get Wallabies in high top cut -
there's an abundance of navy, black and camel lowtops but they don't do
it for me.

Stevie
