Edwinn Starr is bquite popular at the school i'm currently teaching at!
We give old Edwinn a good mention when we talk about war - all lessons
start with "War...what is it good for?" and the kids reply "Absolutely
nothing!"
Other than that i have managed to set a couple of lessons on Civil Rights
to music! It's great being able to p[lay tunes like 'Black Power' 'Black
is beautiful' in schools and it is actually relevant to the lessons!
