speaking only on behalf of Dansette and Moke, Dansette is being sold through
the Detour catalogue, but you can also get it 'mail order' from us direct,
as well as Moke.
they are both modzines but follow different routes -
Moke is more jazz/soul with interview with Convoy, and a pirate radio soul
dj, plus loads more...
and Dansette is more films/freakbeat/interviews with bands, record producer,
B-movie producer, club organiser, that sort of thing...)
both zines have a love of the cool side of the 60's at heart.
we have to charge $5 per copy (this includes p+p) (so if you want Dansette
and Moke together it's $10), but we are talking here about zines that are
A4, 60+ pages long, with colour covers, that cost rather a lot to post! (but
i don't mind accepting cash, as there's always someone going on holiday to
America that i know! saves on the ol' bank commission charges...)
so, if any of you American mods want a copy of Dansette or Moke, here's what
you've got to do: send $5 (notes) per copy to: H. Barrell / Dansette HQ / PO
Box 6792 / Birmingham / B1 1UN / UK, and we'll whisk your order out as soon
as poss! in the UK, each copy costs
