Eh' moots.

My name is john, I write retarded messages to the Mods list daily.
Many of which have no substance to them, and in many ways.. just me
venting my stress to an anonymous audience.

But this is different. You may not know this but I am also an editor
of a pretty popular zine turned Magazine (Issue 1 was 500 copies all
xerox.. We were never allowed in Kinkos again because we caused paper
shortages.. hardcore you now the score).

That magazine is the one and only Massive from you favorite beer
city. Milwauke. My mates and I have been doing this labor of love
for over 6 years now and we have put out over 22 issues of toilet
reading goodness. For five straight years we have put out a
magazines on a sometimes every other month schedule. We distribute
it ourselves. (yes, I have driven to Atlanta from Milwaukee all to
just drop off stacks of magazines).

Basically over the last year Massive has gone through some major
changes. We secured an investor and have completely overhauled the
entire magazine. While the magazine was at first punk, rave, and
everything freaky type of zine it really has stayed an electronic
music magazine.. Until now.

As one of the editors and longest running staff members I have
decided with the blessing of the founder to once again introduce some
music forms OTHER then electronic. More or less rather then being a
rave magazine we really want to start on a path of covering the best
of the underground. Massive has always been about spreading the
Underground. Be it music, drugs, parties, humor, political thought,
what ever.. we really want to use this platform to give our reader
interesting reads.

The discussion of 'Boatboys' of New England caught my ear. I would
love to feature stories on the many regional subcultures that exist
through-out the world. These subcultures are the source of the
trends to come and we would love to feature them. No matter how
obnoxious they would seem to be. We are also interested in
intelligent pieces on intelligent topics. A good example is how
Wallpaper recently interviewed the head of Air Traffic control. We
are very much interested in stories that are about people and
movements that will have a great effect on society as a whole. We
just would like to shed light on these trends befor mainstream
society exploits them.

If you are interested please contact us. Massive is a full color,
fully gloss magazine (as of Issue 23 due out in March). We will be
releasing Massive every other month. The new Massive website will be
launching in March also. Our distribution right now is 30,000
physical. And we will be starting to pay for our features as we grow.

Thanks for reading.. contact me if you have any questions..

John
