This just makes me laugh. At first it was annoying, deleting 90 messages a
day. But now, I'm just thoroughly amused. Obviously, a lot of the listers
don't get the joke. Don't get riled up so easily. Don't take shit so
seriously. It's only mod after all. You act like people be talkin' bout yo
momma and shit.
The funniest part is that one reason I miss Boston so much is that people
there are sarcastic and love to take the piss out of people who take
themselves too seriously. I never thought a Bostonian would take online
babble so much to heart. Practice this: laugh and delete, laugh and
delete....repeat after me.
Also (although I am now guilty of this) Brian is obviously getting too much to
handle with one line posts, slag posts, flames and just blatant stupidity.
Out of respect FOR BRIAN, maybe think twice before you post? Everyone else
can just delete all the crap that pops up on their screen. He can't. Maybe
he should just kick us all off! That would be even funnier.
Totally off topic as of late, I am currently enjying the Blue Juice double
album version 2, which has some great versions of Alligator Boogaloo and
Fever. Fantastic Plastic Machine is a great band to check out if you like
easy listening.
Also, if you're in the Chicago area next week, come by Club Foot on Augusta
Blvd. for Tighten' Up, our monthly mod-a-thon where Ben and Aret spin soul,
Jason dances like Michael Jackson, Margaux laughs a lot, Jenny and Kristen
look fab and I get really drunk and yell at Ben to play some "mod shit". Oh
and we all get baby powder on our fancy shoes and laugh at the hippies.....
