Well yes but then I've thought that so many times before and it always seems 
to find a way to sink lower.

Actually to avoid cheap sarcasm for one fleeting moment, it usually seems to 
experience a brief renaissance of interest after a nadir. I think you'll 
find Spring in the air soon - it's been a cold hard and uninteresting Winter 
for the list.

However I do fear that for every witty/interesting/insightful/blessedly 
sarcastic listee that leaves, a multi-posting dullard seems to appear. So 
perhaps not.

Should a crowd of drunken oafs enter your favourite drinking hole and annoy 
you with shouting inanities, you can choose to join or fight the interlopers 
or just bugger off elsewhere. So maybe we should all leave and come back in 
a month or two and see if they are still here.

Of course if all of the lurkers (some of whom one meets from time to time) 
actually posted, this might be a very different place.
