I've got their CD called, "Mexican R&B" released on Go! Discs/London.
Excellent CD I always put it on from time to time. I particularly like
"Laughter in their eyes" and "woman gone amd say goodbye."

The Stairs recorded an album on 10" vinyl in mono, called Weedbus as
well as quite a few other records - it's been a while, so I may be wrong
about the details.
They were very garagey - I saw them on their "Superstars of Smoking
Tour", and they were like a rough and ready young Rolling Stones. Edgar,
the Brian Jones lookalike singer/guitarist is rumoured to be
touring/working with Paul Weller now.
And yes they were from Liverpool.
