Hey all, I got this CD the other day that I think will appeal to more than a few people on this list. It's by a group called The Thievery Corporation..the album title is "Sounds from The Thievery HiFi" It's sortof lush, downtempo electronic grooves mixed with trip-hoppy style beats and airy vocals, with splashes of Dub,Brazilian Sounds, etc. I would compare them to Kruder and Dorfmeister or perhaps Dimitri from Paris. P.S. I'm glad the conversational tone has gotten a bit more civulized, and much more interesting with the new people coming to this list.
