Thois lovely tale amused me and also reminded me of a conversation i
witnessed in the vintage clothing shop where my lovely friend Joanna works
on saturday.
The phone rings and some bloke on the other end is asking if the owner
wants to buy any 60s shirts. Of course joanna's ear's perk up...60s
clothes she thinks, in york?
"What sort of 60s clothes" she enquiries. He explains a little more...
"mainly mod gear" he says
Joanna digs a little deeper "What in particular? Dress shirts?"
"Mainly fred perry's, Levi's that sort of thing" he replies.
"I thought you said 'mod gear'!" states out assistant and abuptly ends the
conversation.
Well, it amused me anyway!
