oooh summer. with the definative stinger...soul sister huh. talk to me
about soul sister. there are about ten pictures and im in two. i guess
that might have sumthin to do with the fact that i set the whole thing up
huh? what i was reffering to (re:LA) was the fact that it is light hearted
and it shows the range of mods to indie kids with mod styles to brittpop
kids...but im sure a purist like you would snub that anyhow...reflective of
LA? me? yup...cuz im so sick of the lame scene here that I don't go out
 anymore! yup. >>
I wasn't slamming you, at all, Yosi. I hope that is sarcasm about me being a
purist. Purist of what? I listen to music of many genres - all of those
styles. I just don't think baggy Tommy Hilfiger pants or random models
wearing a hideous colored Fred Perrys with gold shoes and brown slacks
represent '60s mod, brit. pop or indie style and should have been
representive of such when the title of the article was ''Mods Night Out''.
The wardrobe assistant hadn't a clue. Like I said, I was just going by my
experience and a friend's word on the article. Please don't ask for my
opinion if you are just going to attack it.
As for the "lame scene" here, I've pretty much learned that it's what you
make of it. What kind of entertainment do people expect when they go out to a
club, anyway? I'm glad to just go out, have a few drinks, and be around
people that have merely the same musical interests that I do. Of course,
you've lived here longer so maybe you just have some social hang ups.

Summer.
