....has reminded me that I used to know Reg Presleys cousin quite well. His name is
Ron Ball, and he lives up here in the North-East in a town called Gusiborough. I knew
him through Sunday league football - he managed a team that 3 or 4 of my mates played
for, and the team I played for was always in the same league as them, so I saw/spoke
to him many times.
He was always keen to point out that he was related to 'the most important Presley in
the music business' - to which someone would ALWAYS reply 'are you related to Elvis?',
and he would say 'who?' and burst in to fits of laughter. Just thought I would share
that with you....
