This is to inform you that Brian Poust's new list "Bespoke" is currently
up and accepting members.

The manifesto:
While this list was placed in the Music | 60's category, it is about
much more. This list was created as a place for intelligent discussion,
lively debate, and a clearinghouse for information pertaining to the
youth cult we know of as modernism.
Members of this list will already know what a mod is, and will
understand that in addition to music, clothes and scooters, being a mod
is also about being a good conversationalist and having aspirations
beyond a "clean living in difficult circumstances".
If you have found this mailing list, you will doubtfully need to be told
much more. The integrity of the Bespoke list will be maintained by
moderation of new members. Even with this in place, those choosing to
subscribe under obviously anonymous email addresses will be questioned
and/or watched very closely. The Bespoke list does not require that you
be a mod, but will expect that you understand what being a mod means.
