>I was just curious about which tracks are overplayed in clubs, in USA The music policy of a lot (not all) of USA clubs is way way waaaaaaaay behind that of the UK/rest of the world. Put it this way: I have heard, non-ironically, My Generation played in would-be 'mod' clubs. Really. And You Really Got Me, and so on and so on. Ironically it seems it's the English tracks that are overplayed in America. Records currently not played out in America include: The Snake, Send Me a Postcard (do me a favour), Out On The Floor, blah de blah blah. Here many people will simply not dance to anything they don't know - and that means over-familiar tracks played to death. Speaking of which: Paul wrote: I agree with Andy And I wrote: Of course you did. And if he wrote "I think we should all beat Paul Secular to death with tiny wooden fans" you would also agree. Lastly, >Ocean Colour Scene are a local band round here, it's quite common to see >them shopping in Kings Heath, but elsewhere they are revered. Oh christ you mean I have to move to the Midlands just to avoid their followers? Come to think of it that bald one with the hat does vaguely resemble some Easter Island head. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com _____________________________________________________________ Want to find the best email lists?
