Sounds just like a rally to me!

I've been to the British Dominion Social Club (when I lived in
SoCal). It
was filled with mostly young mod/skinhead kids with a small group of
old
British men who would always try to dance with the young mod girls.
They
served good (Blackthorn?) cider and didn't card.

In NYC, it seems like a lot of British ex-pats go to pubs to watch
soccer
(footy) games early Saturday mornings or to Irish/English/Scottish
restaurants or bars (St. Dymphna's, Tea & Sympathy, The Scratcher,
NW3, etc).
