just cos the only soul I own may be the 'Atlantic's Greatest Hits' (all
good stuff) - don't mean I can't purport to like soul!!!
I may not know all the songs/artists - but I still listen to/dance to
the bleeding stuff!!!
I ain't got enough spare cash to go buying loads of records
anyway..................
Isn't the important thing: TASTE
as opposed to mere: KNOWLEDGE???

Chess soul/blues comp.
3 or 4 soul 45s (re-issues no doubt!)
Booker T LPs, Otis/Dobie Gray CDs etc. etc.
Chess soul comps are on my list - as are the okeh comps (just for a few
tracks though)
Back to work.... God! Why do I bother with this list?!
