No, but we don't really connect with him. Though maybe a good comparison
I guess - not that I know any Bruce except Born In The USA, Born to Run
and Philadelphia but the only 'connection' we can make is through images
of blue collar America from films, which isn't the same thing as getting
it because you're a blue collar worker from New Jersey. Same thing can
equally be said, of course, of 90s kids getting into The Jam - there's a
lot that's specific to place and time, wheras, say, Small Faces are a
lot more universal.
