We wasn't asked to play Mods Mayday and in truth I think it would be a
little too late to add us to the bill. I remember the '85 Lincoln Mod
Rally well, in fact because of our performance with The Rage it got us
on the bill for the Mod Aid gig, great days!!!
Even though we are not playing at Mods Mayday, I'm going to be back in
the UK for 2 weeks and we will be playing at the 100 Club May 4th, with
The Times and the Aardvarks and also at the Small Faces convention May
14th at the Ruskin Arms, London. We've also got a couple of other mod
nights pending and should be confirmed soon. We are also booked in for
some studio time as well so it looks like I'm going to be one busy
bloke.

Why aren't The Threads playing at Mods May Day? I remember seeing them
at Lincoln Mod rally in 1985 supporting The Rage.There was a big fight
with some scooter boys if I remember rightly.

Wow, thats great news! The Prisones and JTQ on the same day. I'm flying
in from the US that morning, going straight from Gatwick to the gig and
will be handing out "Threads" flyers (if I can stay awake!). I hope I'll
get chance to meet other modslisters at the event. Can't wait!!!
