Guardo, your mate is a complete fuckwit.

trainspotting, so that's why I'm enthusiastic about anything that involves
trains and ovens..."

Subject: Skrewdriver
Sorry, I rarely post, but I had to jump in on the Skrewdriver
conversation.
I have an appreciation for Skrewdriver even though I consider myself
an
extreme antiracist, and I am proud of my Puerto Rican heritage.
They were
actually a really good band (though I am sure Ian Stuart is burning
in hell
at this very moment) and there first few albums had no racist lyrics
on them.
"Hail the New Dawn" and the other racist stuff gets a bit crazy and
I listen
to it at times with humor more than anything else.
My room mate was an anti-racist traditional skinhead for 9 years and
he was a
big Skrewdriver fan. Every weekend after he would go out to the
suburbs with
his bald buddies and fight Nazis they would come back home, drink
beer and
listen to Skrewdriver. He always said that though he hates racism
he loved
skinhead, and no matter what you believe you have to recognize that
Nazism is
a big part of skinhead history, and a part of its culture. He was a
skinhead
to be a skinhead and hated Sharps and Nazis alike, but he listened
to racist
and sharp music because it was a part of being a skinhead. Does
that make
sense?
Anyway, not everyone who listens to Skrewdriver can be called a
racist just
like not everyone who listens to gangsta rap can be called a
gangsta. I
guess thats my point. Sorry I talk too much.
-Guardo Peace out
P.S. Everyone heard that post mortem 60 ft Dolls? It is
incredible!!!!
