Then you don't look cool - you have fucking long sweaty hair hanging in your
eyes! Methinks a compromise is needed - better stronger bouffant technique
coupled with not-quite-somuch dancing..."

The best way is to keep the back long and texturize the sides. This way you
can still pull off the hairstyle but it's also manageable, the longer it
gets the harder it is to deal with. Start off by applying product to your
wet hair, I prefer any TIGI product. With a roll brush, back comb the hair
for height using preferable cool air from your 'helmet dryer' Which is a
'Diffuser' that fits on to the nose of the dryer. Use the dryer until the
head is dry or the style complete. When going to the club remember to bring
a 'hair kit' that you can conveniently store in your man bag Paul. It should
consist of a roll brush, styling pomade, and hairspray. Keep in mind to
gently apply to hair, for over applying will make you look even greasier
than desired. It's also best to shampoo every other day to every two days.
Leave conditioner in longer for great results.
I tried to manage the bouffant but with my hair it required constant
attention. Luckily my best friend is a hairstylist at Toni&Guy so needless
to say my follicles have a good looking after!

Good Luck,
James
