Okay, no scooter rallies til the end of the month. Maybe I'll spend that down
time building a new bike. Maybe I'll even blast my gas tank and spend $2.50 on
a kickstart rubber. Nahhh, I'll go broke spending $$$ on the simple stuff.
Please note that the Bombers SC will be meeting in a new location this month,
at Holy Frijoles in downtown Baltimore. On the bill will be an all-you-can-eat
buffet for both carnivores and vegetarians, $8. Adult beverages are BYOB.
And for those in a dancing and posing mood, the Metro Cafe will be presenting
two dance nights this month WAG (Mod/60s/soul) on Friday June 2, and Mousetrap
(Mod/Britpop) on Saturday June 10.
The Boston Stranglers run originally advertised in the current, Summer "John
Deere", issue of Scoot!Quarterly has been cancelled. The Incriminators SC will
hold a run in the Great Smokey Mountains that weekend.
Yes, Summit Point will go on this year. No, Dean (who has family obligations)
and Mark (who will be moving to greener pastures in New Jersey) will not be
doing the run, instead the run will be sponsored by the Saints SC (who will
not pretend to even hold a candle to Mark's fine catered meals).
