The Incriminators Scooter Club (ie my club) are putting together the 2000
Dragon Scooter Run in the Great Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina the
weekend of July 14-16.
For those who don't know, the Dragon is a 318-turns-in-13-mile road with loads
of tight, fun, and dangerous corners. All scooterists, no matter what you ride
are welcome, but...
DO NOT COME TO THIS RUN IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING ON A SCOOTER
(or don't wish to ride). SOMEONE WHO DID COME LAST YEAR, who was told not to
come for his own good, ALMOST GOT HURT BAD, AND DID CRASH.
I am not trying to discourage people who have some, but not a ton, of
experience from coming WITH THE INTENTION OF LEARNING, SLOWLY. The Dragon is a
challenge, and it is hella fun. But, do not come if you get in over your head
in turns a lot. Hopefully, you know who you are. If you have doubts, and I've
seen you ride, ask me.
Due to bad experiences reserving rooms last year, I will not be putting rooms
on hold for you. Please reserve your own rooms. The two closest places are:
