Sitting here reading all the discussions about merc suits, tonic, sometimes it all depends on what else you wear with it, shirt, shoes, and, last but not least, hair. ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics
Drainer said: you like their 'gun metal' suit? i've never seen it outside of pictures, does it look good? i thought about getting it whenever i got my 'old gold' but i don't think i look good in silver... the old gold looks decent to go out in... i wore the pants last night and a s/s black ben sherman... people keep telling me i look like the guy in matchbox 20... i don't want that compliment. --------------------- Well, i don't know about the suit - i think it could be rather Sting-like! I like the trousers, though - the material seems better than the skirt i had, as it's a bit heavier/thicker. i just wish they'd do knee-length skirts in tonic instead of those tarty skirts - they would be so nice! However, doesn't Emma Silk (always advertises in the New Untouchables newsletter) make quite good skirts? I saw her at Brighton last year (and i think it must have been her as the bloke on the door was saying something jokey about her having made it) and her skirt looked rather fab. it's nice to know that there are girls maknig tht sort of thing as most tailors appear to be for men's gear (look - i avoided saying 'Menswe@r!) - girls like wearing suits too! i'm not sure about the Merc's gold tonic, though. i think it could be a bit much as a suit, whereas, say, a navy tonic suit looks quite marvellous - viva James Bond! ------------------------------ ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics
