Last friday was the opening of the mega mod exhibition My Generation in Stockholm, Sweden. To celebrate the opening there was a huge party, with Ian Jackson and Paul Tunkin from Blow Up in London coming over to dj. Nancy Yahiro from California shared the decks with local boogalooer Hammond-Richard. Live on stage were Big Boss Man from London, playing a great set consisting of loads of stuff from their new album - look out for that one on Blow Up Records. This party was attended by over 1000 people and a true example that the mod culture is well and alive, and also still creates interest. For more info about the exhibition check out www.mygeneration.nu, english version coming soon.
