Now you've got me thinking...hmmmm...wouldn't be you doing a moony by
any chance? ;-) Only thing is that I've never met you so I wouldn't
recognise your 'bottom' (Helen?) - like to keep it clean as you can't
even have the title 'shagged' in American film titles...'The Spy
That...'Ate' me? Do I get a prize for guessing correctly!

Dolly Rockers - I spent the majority of Saturday afternoon in Camden
market and vacinity and stopped off to finally check out Dolly Rockers
(which I've missed on other visits because it's further down from the
main bit!).

First impression of look and size of shop was good but after going
through the clothes, I must admit, there wasn't much there that I
thought was of good quality or style (i.e. pen marks on a lovely mini
skirt!). I wasn't too bothered though, as I half expected an original
vintage/retro shop to be like this (most are) but I was disappointed
that there was not enough 60's but tons of 70's which is ok if your into
The Brady Bunch look. I quite liked the mini skirts and was even going
to buy a nice orange/swirly patterned one but then decided nowt in the
end because I wasn't sure what shoes/boots I'd wear with it. Found a
fabulous light green/creamy lime coloured bad with twist clasp though.
Spotted a lovely 60s light gold dress with embroidery too...they had
some nice dresses but these were hanging from the walls as decoration so
couldn't get a nice look at these. My friend spotted a nice 60's glass
tumbler set in their original box for only 20 quid!

We spent too long in Camden and didn't have enough time to visit
Yesterday's Bread (which I've been to a couple of times before anyway)
but we ended up in HMV on Oxford St and I bought that new compiliation
CD - Mod a-go-go? Can't remember the title off the top of my head but
it contains 30 r&b, 'soho' soul and hammond grooves (including a track
from David Bowie) and it's not bad, although not all the songs are very
fast and funky that you can dance too, as given the impression by the
cover but nice sleeve with pics and notes to read.

Cheerio folks.

Caroline
