Well then I'll just post my reply again. Bonehead. Well that's John's main area of expertise...talking about things of which he has little knowledge. I would be the first to encourage people to NOT move here. Not because I don't like it, but because EVERYBODY likes it, and as you mentioned rent is very high. The comments about fog and earthquakes only emphasize your ignorance.Plenty of 'quakes in LA I might add. Yes, I've known John since the early 80s when I lived in the DC area. He quite possibly has the worst reputation of anybody I've ever met. Worse than me by far. The difference is, when people actually meet ME, minds usually change. Whereas for John, unfortunately, it's all confirmed. And I realize John is just trying to start a little trouble, but you forget...I lived in the DC area for 25 years...I KNOW it sucks there. Whereas your experience in SF has been what? A tourist trip of a few days, maybe? And I can assure you, there are PLENTY of women looking for a straight man here. But that shouldn't concern you too much. They eat scooterkids like you for lunch.
