Hey! I don't know if this has already been mentioned on here or not, but yesterday i got the Immediate box set. It was 50, but well worth every penny. OK, some of it's a bit ruff... i mean - Jimmy Tarbuck???!!! But there's absolutely loads of top tracks by the likes of PP Arnold and Chris Farlowe, the Wee Mugs, of course, and loads of other bits 'n' bobs! Very interesting over-view of the development in music from 65 to 67/68 (?). And of course, if i'd had to buy it all on vinyl, it would've costed a fortune. HAHAHAHAHA! It's tres marvellous, and there's an excellent 40+ page booklet with scribblings and piccies. Could've done without Paolo Hewitt's 'words of wisdom', tho'. Apparently, Oldman was a mod because he went to a recording studio without knowing how to operate the desk. Ermm.... does this mean we must now all reassess whether or not we dare to call ourselves 'mod', a word which no doubt Paolo Hewitt has already patented? Still, 6 cds for 50, 160 tracks, it was worth it. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
