Now that's funny. Let me tell you about the time I saw Elliot play in the
bakery of the Middle East in Cambridge and it was just me and Mary Lou Lord
in the audience sharing a beer. Nah, Chrissy Hynde told me never to name
drop. Ummmmm, I've always heard that waskelly wabbit David Crosby take credit
for discovering "Hey Joe". He said that it was just some folk song that he
and his drug buddies would sing and that he was convinced that someone could
have a hit with it. I'm know the Byrds did a version of it, and Love did it
pretty well.
