Actually, I think that one of the basic tenants of the mod outlook on life is
to pick the best elements and utilize them. For instance, the best Italian
suits, the best American Soul, etc. Quite simply, the Beatles were the best
pop band ever and they did manage to squeeze out a couple hundred absolutely
classic tunes in about 7 years. In fact, if it weren't for the Beatles, I'd
bet you'd have never even heard of whatever British bands you're wacking off
to. John Lennon says fuck off.
