...as for your question about how can they call themselves mods, well what is in a name? we breathe life to the word "mod", "heather", "rockers", etc. So to call themselves mods, they simply have to say "I am a Mod", right? maybe they are anarchists. or  crime thinkers who decided to claim the word and make it mean whatever they want it to mean....forget what was...this IS! (okay now i feel like i'm talking about punk rock music:  untrained musician playing instruments their way. "let's make music OUR WAY". DIY.) but it's OKAY.  "Mod" is the cool aunt of punk: this "gutter"  culture we speak so condescendingly against. and all other youth culture post 1960's. Mod is not a bougeosie thing or is it? if it isn't then it is radical. and being radical means : to disregard the system. their system. their power. their heirarchy. their knowledge. therefore that renders the "elementary bit of information" regarding fred perry to be insignificant. the question you last ask shouldn't be directed to the list because as unknown faces to you, the list should not justify your righteousness. out of  my excess brain activity: what did you expect to hear?
