Cheers. I Don't know how I got started on this "modslist" 'cos I can't even
access from my 1972 atari, hand me down computer that I don't even know how
to use, and before this week never cared. I want to post a ad.
I am searching for any late 50's & 1960's R&B and soul 45's in reasonable
(playable)
condition. I have countless gems I can tastefully customize into a makeshift
compilation to cassette with a nice aesthetic cover (for trade). I can also
pay.
Specifically, Don Covay,Joe Tex,Sugar Pie Desanto,Carla Thomas,Solomon
Burke,Wilson Pickett,early Ike & Tina Turner on teena records or the
IKETTEs,Mable John,Etta James,The Falcons,Red bird
recordings,Atlantic,Stax,Veejay,KENT,Double L ,Federal &KING labels. anybody
got something? I would settle for recordings only I have no CD player and I
prefer vinyl and cassette. Also For mods & traditional Skins I hear ther's a
new soul night every Tuesday at Berbati's pan. I haven't attended this one
yet-but I know the boy who DJ's and know he has perfect taste with a decent
collection of 45's. dress smart,as you know. I am also always looking Who
stuff.even just an update. I hear Pete Townshend just called George bush a
"cunt' for campaigning with "won't get fooled again" without permission. plus
george Bush is a "cunt".
