If anybody is interested (which is hardly anybody here), RPM has released The Best Of Planet Records, the label that was launched by the great Shel Talmy! It features Mod favorites like the Creation, the (Lindsay Muir's)Untamed, A Wild Uncertainty, the Thoughts, John Lee's Groundhogs, the Trekkas, and the Corduroys, among others. It even features a long lost track by the Orlons to boot. I picked it up yesterday and it's well worth it to check out. There are some great pictures and liner notes from Shindig's Jon 'Mojo' Mills. Go out and get it! Also in the works are a collection from Miki Dallon's Strike and Go labels, as well as the Major Minor label run by Phillip Solomon who also ran Radio Caroline!
