In short, no it's not. Maybe it is for you if you're a music fan first and
foremost, but some of us actually like the social scene (you know - clubs,
people, dancing) and some of us think it's more about the way you dress and
present yourself (that way you can be a mod who happens to listen to
Fairport Convention). And what the hell is 'mod music' anyway - soul? r'n'b?
jazz? boogaloo? garage punk? Or a handful of 60s mod Brit bands?
