The point is that I find it hard to take 'fuck mod, it's the music that 
counts' criticism from someone who chooses a folk-rock nom-de-plume. Not 
because there's anything wrong with folk rock, but because it says to me 
that you're not interested (in the mod thing) on any other level than 
60s music, and I strongly disagree that that's what it's about.

Who did a very nice version of Buckley's 'Morning Glory' on bootleg - 
yes, I know, I thought I'd established I was knowledgable enough to play 
spot the reference.

Good as it is musically, I really doubt it; you don't even know what 
music is played at the clubs I go to. But you know, I do actually enjoy 
going out, drinking and dancing (not as much as I used to when younger) 
and talking to people with similar interests, rather than staying in 
with the hi-fi. I do actually take an interest in clothing styles as 
much as music. Perhaps I'm missing the point somewhere. . .
The vaguely rhytmic step side-to-side isn't a new move either.
