Do yourselves a favor and download "Super Good Looking," by The Adjusters
from Mp3.com. This song is yet another example of the sheer genius of this
band. They cross their usual reggae/soul/funk grooves with trip-hop style
drums and effects, and as an extra-added treat is the sexy vocal stylings of
the love of my life Jessica Basta. Unfortunately their record label just
went belly-up, so i fear I won't be hearing too much more from them soon,
but trust me -- this song will make you willing to wait.

If you're more into a traditional sound, check out their track "Can't See
the Light." This one is a brilliant mix of 60's soul and Dancehall Reggae.
The churning ska beat is peppered with gruff male vocals courtesy Daraka,
and beautiful feamale backups. On the flipside of this is the Teutonic
Reggae stylings of the infamous Richie Senior aka Dr. Ring-Ding. Both of
these songs are reportedly from their new album called "Otis Redding Will
Save America." I pray to god it gets picked up by a label soon.

On a sidenote, check out http://www.7wow.com This internet-based record
label offers a whole lot of traditional and third wave roots ska, as well as
some reggae and dub sides. Check out their sample Mp3's, and if you want a
guaranteed great one, I recommend "Dave's Friend," by the Slackers.

Have fun........
