I hear there is little sporting event happening there this Sunday. Along with
Carnival celebrations in Ybor City Friday and Saturday. And rumor has it that
Mons Venus is a club not to be missed.
And I saw that they've even had parka weather happening there for the past few
weeks.
But I guess worthwhile is in the eyes of the beholder. When I was there I
stayed at a gorgeous B&B on the bay in St. Petersburg, saw a soccer match, and
had a beautiful evening dining in Ybor City (Tampa's equivalent of Philly's
South Street or Baltimore's Fells Point). However I didn't go searching for
any vintage stores, though Ybor City has the usual assortment of
punk/alternative shops.
