I'd like to tell a story about when I was in Junior High and I went to
this stadium concert
to see, uh....Blue Oyster Cult. See there was this kick ass fight in
the parking lot before the show
and I'd like to tell you the story right here. See, this one dude that
was drinking
warm budweiser from a can told this other dude that his school "sucked"
and that he was a "pussy"...
and Whoah Nelly! all these other dudes appeared from out of nowhere and
said , like, "fuck you asshole!
we're gonna kick your ass!" and then some OTHER dudes threw some cans or
somethin' and the stadium
rent-a-cops showed up and ended the fight...and then we all went inside.
Nothing to do with mod whatsoever, but it was REALLY interesting wasn't
it?

Its always amuses me how seriously everyone takes this list! I certainly
wouldn't have berated "David W" if I knew he was so widely popular! I didn't
realize such a large gang of mods would rain down furious posts at little old
me! As for Dan's post It doesn't matter all that much if you take me
seriously or not. I was just arguing for a persons right to discuss a punk
band on this list. I didn't post about the fight if you recall.
Anyway... Interesting choice of bands in "Blue Oyster Cult" considering The
Jam opened for them on their U.S. tour. I would have been there, but I was
in 2nd grade. Fights are part of shows as far as Im concerned. Sometimes
the funnest part! There was plenty of fighting going on in Brighton back in
the day! If you have never been in a drunken brawl at a show, you haven't
lived.
