i go to new orleans a few times a year. my experience with nola "mods"
has been rather mixed. I have met a few of the nola "jedi knights" sc,
although friendly enuff, all seemed more oriented to their scooter scene and
less so towards music,style, or other elements of "Mod culture" none had any
real appreciation (or interest) in soul, which is interesting considering
the abundant variety of soul i found available there. If interested in
