Please, it's only 50 miles between Canterbury and W1. I regularly ride my scooter to
Baltimore, also 50 miles, for interesting events. I have people in my office who drive
80 miles between home and work *EACH DAY*.
If your choice is staying put, and being bored, in Canterbury, or hoping a train for
the short ride into London for a little shopping and nightlife the choice is pretty
obvious to me.
