maybe they just don't like obscure freakbeat & psych...to be honest, there's
quite a lot that to me, is obscure for a reason. no disrespect to you, i
like what you play, but you can't assume that your tastes will translate to
people who don't know that much about the music. the reason a song may fill
a floor in london is because it -isn't- obscure to those people, they have
those songs drilled into their heads week after week. if you play ananda
shankar four times in one night, people are bound to recognize it
eventually.
