I moved from Philadelphia to Columbus for the briefest
of periods last spring. But, in my month in Ohio, I
discovered that there was a mod/soul scene... in
Cincinnati. You might want to contact a guy named
Scott Smallwood who runs Atomic Scooters in Columbus.
His number should be listed.
He sells Vespas and Lammy's. He put me in touch with
some soul/mod people in Cincinnati. These people ended
up knowing some soul/mod friends of mine from Philly
and NY. Small World.
Anyway, I'd suggest getting in touch with Smallwood in
Columbus. He'll probably put you in touch with a guy
named Grover (don't know last name) in Cincinnati who
is deep into all things soul and mod.
