so while an 'electronic music fest' may not seem to be of interest to some of you, it is quite an experience. last year there was an estimated 1.5 million people in downtown detroit for this, and it is still free. it's a good time and there's some excellent musicians playing/ spinning including jazzanova, kid koala, mixmaster mike, p'tahh, de la soul, tortise, and a million others (if you're really into dj's then you'll go nuts for this) there also will have to be a lot of after parties, bars open late, and detroits own monthly funk night falling on that friday as well check out www.demf.org it's from may 26-28 if any of you are serious about coming out i can try to help you with housing but i am not going to guarantee anything also there are some crazy other festivals coming up in detroit this summer i've heard...one motown revue festival (including stevie wonder) and some other fest which i heard that cibo matto and fela kuti's son are playing at. nice! adam michigan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
