Are there any mod clubs in L.A. anymore? I've been out
of the loop, but whatever happened to SHOUT! or SOLID?
Admittedly they were never that great, but at least it
was something. I suppose there's BANG!, but what
else? Is it me or has there been for the past year or
so a dearth of mod/soul events in this area?
I noticed a recent plug to the list from the folks at
the Club au-go-go. It's fine and all that; but c'mon,
it's out in Pomona, which is not exactly L.A. I'm not
harping on Pomona, not at all. But the question
remains: what mod/soul clubs are happening in L.A?
