agreed....even if you've got..oh say 50% of this set on
comps/reissues/vinyl, it's never been compressed into such a brilliant and
convenient package as this. I hadn't even heard rumors of a "Nuggets II",
this just crept up and jumped out. It's like an early Christmas present.
Rhino's got some keen archivists digging for them.

And onto subject 2:
I've just moved to LA in the past week from the east coast, and am
regrettably holed up in the Silverlake/ Los Feliz area on account of not
knowing anyone or my way around. I've ventured out to Melrose, Venice,
Santa Monica, Burbank, & Glendale, but am still kinda out of the loop as
far as record shops, clothing shops and hang-outs are concerned. If anyone
on the list is from LA, please email me off list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
The only upcoming events I'm aware of are "Club Au-go-go" (which could be a
complete waste of time for all I know, but please let me know)
and the Ocean Colour Scene gigs on the 12th & 13th (which many of you may
view as a waste of time, but not me). At any rate, anyone into the
Mod/60's/Garage/yada yada yada scene in LA, please get in touch with me
before I go nuts..........
Thanks in advance
Mike
