QUADROPHENIA, 1979, Rhino Home Video & American Cinematheque
Presents..., 115 min. Inspired by the Who�s landmark concept album and
featuring some of composer Pete Townsend�s most ambitious music,
director Franc Roddam�s QUADROPHENIA is set against the backdrop of
early 1960�s England, where scooter-driving Mods and leather-clad
Rockers clash for control of the beaches and juke joints. Phil Daniels
stars as the rude boy struggling against Britain�s ultra-rigid class and
education system, with support from Mark Wingett and Sting (in his
acting debut).
There will be a Mod Party following the screening in the Egyptian
courtyard. Special Ticket price of $12.00 General, $10.00 Members for
this event.

QUADROPHENIA will open in LA for a special one-week engagement following
this sneak preview of the restored 35 mm print! Look for QUADROPHENIA
around the US this summer and fall.
Scooter Rally!
Scooter Ride - Meets at the Tower Records on Sunset beginning at 5 PM.
(8801 Sunset Blvd.) -- then ride to the Egyptian Theatre (6712 Hollywood
Blvd)
Ride Leaves at 6 PM. Ride goes 1.5 miles to the Egyptian OR meet in
front of the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.
There will be a Photo Session from 6:45-7:00 PM directly in front of the
Egyptian Theatre. There will be a reserved space directly in front of
the Egyptian. Photos of this event, the riders and their bikes will be
taken by news crews..
Off Street parking available in a nearby private lot. $5 without
validations. $3 without validation.
