We got great rates with orbitz.com and AAA on our last 2 road trips
(Chapel Hill, NC and Chicago, Ill).
Orbitz is a hotel search site /cheap prices type of site - like
CheapTickets is for plane fares....
If you already belong to AAA - use it! They rock for travelling.... even
provide maps, directions, etc.

I just want to give everyone a heads up on a flake I encountered
here from the Modslist. His name is Patrick Martin from Michigan, USA. He
uses (or used) the screen name of RevltionGo.
Approximately 3 months ago we made arrangements to trade copies
of This Is Mod Vol.4 in exchange for This Is Mod Vol.2. I upheld my part of
the bargain and sent the copied cd in a timely manner, and after receiving
some emailed excuses from him for not sending my copy out, he simply
disappeared. I allowed more than enough time before reporting this to my
fellow Modlisters (and listeners, for that matter).
Please take heed in any dealings with this individual.
