Last year Pharohe Sanders and Marlena Shaw were in town -
this year features Roy Ayers and Ubiquity among many
familiar names and not so many familiar names that I am

No, I'm not happy simply trading insults, either
(though I admittedly do very little "simply"). So, as
someone who's subscribed and unsbscribed, lurked and
delurked for some time here and has never noticed much
of any traffic beyond club listings, playlists, and
the occasional border skirmish, what DID used to go on
here? What should? I'd be very happy to get some
useful information at least, beyond nights I can't
attend in places I can't get to, not immediately, not
regularly ...
